The staff of the Egyptian Revival Day Spa & Wellness Center is separated into five different departments: The Management Team, Salon, Massage Therapists, Esthetics, and Reception.
Dr. Ted Vanacker, Co-owner, is a board Certified Dermatologist. He graduated form Michigan State University and opened Southern Illinois Dermatology in August of 1996. Dr. VanAcker works directly wit the day spa staff to provide the most technically advanced skin care services. Southern Illinois Dermatology is one of the largest dermatology practices in the Midwest, and serves approximately 75k patients. Southern Illinois Dermatology is always on the cutting edge of the most advanced dermatological treatments. Dr. VanAcker is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatological Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatologist.
Dr. Barry Vesciglio, Director and co-owner of the Egyptian Revival Day & Wellness Center, is a licensed clinical psychologist and a graduate of the counseling psychology program at Indiana State University. Dr. Vesciglio specializes in the treatment of developmental and transitional issues and ascribes to a holistic approach to integrated wellness. In the past, Dr. Vesciglio has offered a variety of psycho-educational workshops to clients of the Egyptian Revival Day Spa including such topics as: time and stress management, communication skills, and interpersonal effectiveness. Dr. Vesciglio hopes to continue to develop programs that benefit our clients and help them to live healthier lifestyles.
Debbie Reiman, Manager, has 21 years of accounting experience, 11 years of management experience, 2 years of business development training, and an associate degree in Cosmetology.
The Egyptian Revival Day Spa Salon is staffed with the finest hairstylists, and nail technicians in the Southern Illinois area. We only accept stylists with at least 2 years of professional experience. The Salon is made up of 6 cosmetologists, and 2 Nail Technicians, they have over 50 years of combined experience. Each of our cosmetologists is talented in all aspects of hair and nail care. Whether it's for a special occasion or regular maintenance, we have stylists that specialize in design coloring, foiling techniques, weddings, prom, homecoming, etc., or for that special evening out. Egyptian Revival Day Spa has the perfect cosmetologist to fit you personality and style needs.
The Egyptian Revival Day Spa currently has 6 Massage Therapists on staff. All of who are licensed in the state of Illinois. Each has a unique touch and style that will bring you to a whole new level of relaxation.
The esthetics department at the Egyptian Revival Day Spa consists of 4 Licensed Estheticians, and two esthetics trained Cosmetologists. All of our spa facial service providers are extremely talented and of relaxation combined with a thorough analysis of your skin care needs.
